Capture One will add support for the latest Nikon Z6 II and Z7 II cameras at the end of the month (January 2021):
Capture One 20 Nikon Z6
“We’ve been receiving many requests for support for Nikon Z6II and Z7II – so we’re letting you know ahead of time that we will now be adding support for these cameras. It will be included in the upcoming Capture One 21 service update to be released by the end of this month which will include various new supported cameras and bug fixes.”
I would also like to request that the Nikon Z7ii NEF file format is supported as soon as possible. I have both a Z6 and the new Z7ii. Capture One 21 reads the Z6 NEF files and supports that camera in tethered mode, but, at present, I am unable to use the 7ii in tethered mode unless I switch the camera to JPEG, which defeats much of the object! Nikon D750 is listed under Canon column:D. I created a support ticket because it appears to me that the ProStandard profiles are not consistent across Nikon cameras: D750 and Z6II. I am seeing that the ProStandard profile on Z6 II is much more flat comparing to the ProStandard profile on D750.
Reminder: Capture One will increase their prices on January 11 – you have 3 more days to get their old pricing (the price increase will also impact the Capture One version for Nikon).
