- During group text messaging members will use the Tapback feature to show emotions such as , ❤️ Or HaHa.etc. Previously when one would text back a Tapback, the bubble would show on the message. Now, when others Tapback at my message, I see the the repeated message without the bubble, but instead the word.
I’ve noticed -- especially since upgrading to iOS 11 -- that in some threads in the Messages app I’ll receive a message from one of the chat participants “Loved an image”. I’m sure this corresponds to them selecting an image and trying to add a heart to it (I understand this is called the tapback feature), but the heart isn’t appearing on the image. Instead I get that message from them, with no indication which image they loved.
